Senior Enterprise Services Sales Representative

Job Summary

Raindance is seeking a Senior Enterprise Services Sales Representative with experience creating, shaping, leading and closing opportunities with the Fortune 500. In this role, the candidate will sell to the senior management level at large enterprise accounts, collaborate with and support Business Development and Marketing, and provide specialized expertise within the sales team. You will drive proactive campaigns to build your pipeline and use specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities. You will consult with clients, gain trust, and explain how Raindance can create specific business benefits for our customers and prospects.


  • Create compelling business value propositions based on an in-depth understanding of the market, industry, initiatives, goals, and portfolio for the cloud services space
  • Define and position well-targeted solutions to generate customer acceptance, develop internal buy-in, and ensure the conditions for winning the deal
  • Develop deal timeline and ensure that pursuit team meets deal milestones and deadlines
  • Identify stakeholders and decision makers and develop trust relationships to win the deal and lay the foundation for long-term relationship with the customer
  • Demonstrate customer-sensitive practices within accounts to support trust in the company and advance our account presence
  • Assess feasibility of pursuing an opportunity given what the customer is trying to accomplish
  • Negotiate large contracts and close deals


  • 6-8 years of experience in sales for Cloud Consulting Services (private and hybrid cloud, design, build, and run services contracts)
  • A proven track record of success in building a sales territory
  • Experience selling into the Fortune 500 and experience with C-Level Executives

Other Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Highly organized, with strong communication, and consultative experience and skills
  • Flexibility to use skills in varying roles within a young and growing company
  • Tolerant of ambiguity (frequent change, unresolved situations)
  • Able to travel minimum of 50% or as needed according to customer needs
  • Able to deliver results with minimal oversight and direction
  • Ability to communicate to technical & non-technical audience
  • Able to communicate effectively in written form
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • A passion for selling
